Luz del Mar was born from our love for the ocean and a deep desire to create something meaningful together. As a couple, we’ve always found peace and connection in nature, especially on the shores of Puerto Rico. Long walks along the beach, collecting shells and sand, and soaking in the coastal breeze inspired us to bring that sense of serenity into our candles, turning those tranquil moments into something you can experience in your own home.

I’m a disabled veteran, and my wife, a Colombian immigrant who came to Puerto Rico to study and found not only an education but a deep connection to the island—and to me😉. This company represents our love for each other and for nature. It’s a project that allows us to blend our diverse backgrounds and shared passions into something tangible, something that brings a sense of calm, joy, and beauty to others.
